A delightful course set in farmland behined Te Teko. Given the reputations of other courses in the area this course quite happily takes a back seat. Te Puke golf course creates a challenge for all levels of golfer, set in rolling kiwi fruit country it is one of New Zealand's longest courses, at 6600m. The open and relatively flat nature helps it's length, but to counter, there are many medium to large trees guarding the fairways. In summary a top quality course however miss the fairway and the trees will normally release prisoners but often not before a sentence is served.

Kawerau golf course is a parkland style course set in a large valley that also accomodates the reknowned Trawera river. To many members including the writer it is the most underated course in B.O.P. On it's day Kawerau fights with the Bay of Plenty heavy weights with respect to both course layout and scenery. It's signature hole the par 15th requires you to hit accross the river to make it to the safety of the green.
